A quick, satisfying noodle bowl with a rich savoury sauce. Works with any protein — or go meatless with tofu and extra vegetables.
Ingredients
- 200g (7 oz) egg noodles, rice noodles, or ramen
- 2 tbsp TUYET Premium Cooking Sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp Fish sauce
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- ½ lb protein of choice (shrimp, chicken, tofu, or beef), sliced thin
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup bok choy or baby spinach
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1 egg (optional, fried or soft-boiled)
- Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
- Chili oil or sriracha (optional)
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Cook protein for 2–3 minutes until done. Remove and set aside.
- In the same wok, add garlic. Stir fry for 15 seconds.
- Add bok choy and carrots. Stir fry for 1–2 minutes.
- Add cooked noodles back to the wok.
- Mix TUYET sauce with water. Pour over noodles and toss vigorously until everything is coated and glossy.
- Return protein to the wok and toss once more.
- Serve in bowls topped with a fried egg, green onions, sesame seeds, and chili oil if desired.
TUYET Tip: For a richer noodle sauce, use TUYET straight (no water) and add a splash of sesame oil. The sauce will cling to every strand.
