The ultimate leftover transformer. Day-old rice + TUYET + whatever's in your fridge = dinner in 10 minutes.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked rice (day-old, cold from the fridge works best)
- 2 tbsp TUYET Premium Cooking Sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (frozen peas & carrots, corn, diced bell pepper — whatever you have)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- White pepper and salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat until smoking.
- Pour in beaten eggs. Scramble quickly for 30 seconds until just set. Break into pieces and push to the side.
- Add vegetables. Stir fry for 1–2 minutes.
- Add cold rice. Press it flat against the wok and let it sear for 1 minute without stirring (this creates the slightly crispy texture).
- Break up the rice and toss everything together.
- Pour TUYET sauce directly over the rice and toss vigorously for 1–2 minutes until every grain is coated.
- Finish with sesame oil, white pepper, and green onions.
- Serve immediately.
TUYET Tip: Cold, day-old rice is the secret to great fried rice — fresh rice is too moist and will turn mushy. Cook your rice the night before.
